Boris Stein, D.M.D., M.S.D.
Dr. Boris Stein grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, graduating from Newton North High School. He continued to pursue his love of science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following graduation, he moved back to Boston to attend Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Dr. Stein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (Board Certified).
Dr. Stein continued his education with a residency in periodontics at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where he received his Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree. At LSU he completed advanced training in oral plastic surgery, soft and hard tissue regenerative procedures, dental implants, microsurgery, and laser surgery. Dr. Stein has also completed the surgical implant program at the Misch International Implant Institute. Dr. Stein has served as a contributing editor for the Journal of Western Society of Periodontology and presented his research on the effects of cigarette smoke on dental implants at the International Association for Dental Research annual meeting.
In his free time, Dr. Stein enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and friends and cheering on all of the Boston sports teams.
